Even though Baby D was wide awake for much of his newborn session, he was a very calm awake. He was taking everything in. I always wonder when babies are like that as newborns if they grow up to be inquisitive children and adults. His parents are so in love with him and I can understand why. Finally at the end is succumbed and fell asleep. Parents usually like the awake shots just as much as the sleepy ones. Take a look at his eye lashes! Look at how long they are. Any girl would kill for eye lashes like that. Enjoy this time with your new bundle of joy!!
