How do I reserve my session?
Once we finalize a date for your session, your session payment, contract and questionnaire is due within 3 days to hold your spot. Credit cards, cash or check are accepted. What ever works best for your family.
Is there a session fee ?
There is a session fee for all sessions. The session fee includes an pre session consultation, time and talent of the photographer, travel to and from location, post processing of all images and an in person ordering session.
Do I need to attend the pre session consultation?
The pre session consultation is for you to to come meet me and see what is going on here at the studio. We will get to know each other and begin to create the ultimate session for you. We will talk about you and your family, what are your likes and dislikes. I want to know what you love to do as a family and how your home is decorated. I want to create artwork for your walls that will last generations. I pride myself in excellent customer service and I want to treat you like family. If you have difficulty attending the pre session consultation, we can certainly go over all of the information over the phone.
What do I wear? Any suggestions?
Colorful outfits with multiple layers to bring out everyone’s personality work well. You don’t need to match perfectly. Complimentary colors work well together. You can check out my Pinterest board for some inspiration. Some stores to check out for inspiration are Old Navy or the Gap. Feel free to call with ideas or even text/email some of what you are thinking about. I am always here to help.
How long does a session last?
Your session will last between 45min to 2 hours unless it is a mini session. Those usually are 20-30 min long. Newborn sessions can last up to 3 hours. We will stop as much as needed to use the bathroom, diaper changes and snack breaks.
How will we order?
Approximately 2 weeks after your session, we will meet for our viewing and ordering appointment. It is at this time that you will be shown the images from your session as well as portraits and products available for purchase. The viewing and ordering appointment often seems overwhelming at first but be assured I am here to help you. I just want you to get what you want and need. You will be relieved when all the decisions are made and you can look forward to your beautiful portraits and products.
When will my order be ready?
You should expect to receive your prints within 2-3 weeks of placing your order. Canvases and custom orders could take up to 4-6 weeks. Holiday times are also slightly longer due to the increased number of orders during that time.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes I do! Every time you refer someone to me and they book a session (*the session must take place), you receive a $100 print credit. You must use your credits within a year. An extra bonus, your friend who was referred by you, gets a $100 print credit to be used toward purchases.
